Linear programming is formulated in mid-twentieth century. Expectations were too high with the ultimate goal to create, not only individual optimization software company, but complex systems, activities, and programs of national economies. Unfortunately, their application is reduced only to the companies, in their simply form. Why? The author of this thesis is of the opinion that the very general formulation of optimization unnecessarily narrow down their options upotrebe. Leading to this belief, the author of this site shows a way of rearranging the formulation and expanding the possibility of using these programs, not just individual companies, but also the complex hierarchicaly organized business systems.
So, using this redefinition of the Program in the solution will get not only the optimal plan for each company individually, but the system as a whole, and besides information about the production you will have all financial information you want, such as: Total revenue, expenses, income, profit required working capital, fixed and variable costs and the like. In addition, such programs can be formulated to serve you and to test the effects of different management requirements.
